Project Manager
**Job Summary** The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing/delivery for the completion of the project, as per customer contract requirements with the highest level of quality and no compromise on safety. Responsible for gaining trust with customers and increasing customer loyalty. The PM is responsible for ensuring on-time project delivery, budgeting, and meeting the international standards/regulatory authorities’ certification requirements. You should organize the project team, mentor and motivate the project team to achieve the goals of the project delivery. More importantly, you will work closely with LifeCycle Services (LCS) team to ensure all the systems are commissioned as per requirements. **In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:** **Customer Loyalty** + Ensuring focus on understanding customer demands & difficulties, and solving of customer problems to improve customer satisfaction and increase customer loyalty. + Ensure Project is completed and delivered as per customer expectations. **Planning & Risk Assessment** + Coordinate the purchase of equipment, material and services in a timely and efficient manner based on the contractual schedule and project specifications. + Responsible for identifying, analyzing and responding to risks that are likely to affect the projects. + Responsible for project status, performance and forecasting reporting to the management/customer. **Safety and Quality** + Someone who put Safety & Quality at the forefront while completing & delivering to the project expectation + Someone who inculcates a Safety & Quality approach / culture within the project team members **Project Scope and Details** + Ensures meticulous project scope planning & tracking to deliver the project successfully. + Ensure good project management standards and practices are always implemented, including material procurement, project implementation phase, up to the successful commissioning of the project at customer site. **Risk Management** + Familiar with the various approaches of risk assessment / identification & mitigation + Has the discipline to continuously track, monitor & update the Risk Management documentation **Change Management** + Identify and resolve changes across the entire project and negotiation of change order with customers/suppliers. + Systematic approach in management & tracking of project related changes **Project Costing & Cost Management** + Financially acute project manager to manage the overall cost of the project + Accountable on forecasting & delivery of the project revenue + Close coordination with various partners (internal & external) on cost control of a project + Ensure implementation of timely and accurate cost tracking mechanism on project costs. + Support Sales team with cost estimation for major systems project pursuit. **Resource Management** + Responsible for forecasting resource requirement on each project. + Responsible in coordinating & management of resources for the various tasks on the project **Build an effective project team** + Able to inspire a collaborative project environment amongst the diverse project team members + Fosters ownership within each team members through influence, positive reinforcement + Ensures timely and appropriate generation, collection, dissemination, storage, and ultimate disposition of project information. **Suppliers** + Handle subcontractor schedules, quality-of-work and releasing of payment based on actual completion of subcontractor’s scope of work. **Internal Stakeholders (Operations, Supply Chain, Factories, Sales Team)** + Serve as an adaptable focal point of contact for customer, supplier, and internal partners for assigned projects. + Provide sales support on both engineering and commercial issues for systems projects. + Lead multiple MSS Projects to meet and/or exceed customer’s specifications, project timeline, financial goals, Safety and quality standards. **Fabrication Yards** + To manage & coordinate activities & sub tasks with the Fabricator / Integrator on the overall project + To ensure Safety & Quality compliance by Vendor & Sub Vendor on activities at the Fabrication Yard pertaining the Emerson project **Testing, FAT, SAT** + To plan / prepare & coordinate Internal & Customer acceptance testing and with LifeCycle Services team on Site Acceptance Test + Ensure timeliness in managing testing schedule & closure of Punch List and obtaining of shipment release prior to packing & delivery **Certificates / documentation** + Ensure timely completion and close-out of project, based on contractual requirement, including resolution of any open items. + Following through on completion / full approval of project documentation and compilation into final manufacturing data book. **Who You Are:** You see the big picture, constantly anticipating future scenarios, and build strategies to sustain competitive advantage.
