Production Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will supervise shift team's progress against work plans as defined by Production management to ensure the proper use of machinery, equipment, and assembly lines within a production area. Cooperates with the unit supervisor to create an effective work environment and reinforce production schedules and qualityThe work model for the role is: #Li - Onsite This role is contributing to the Motion Traction Division in Bangalore.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tOrganizing and allocating resources to meet line production targets effectively and efficiently, responding to resource issues as necessary, leading capacity planning and resource optimization for the assigned unit or line.•\tProvides regular feedback and makes recommendations to management regarding issues within the production line, including production line organization, shifting priorities, and possible critical situations.•\tIdentifying and recommending technical equipment and facility improvements as necessary. •\tReinforces focus on volume, efficiency, and on-time delivery.•\tIdentifying deficiencies in production area, proposes improvement activities and overseeing implementation of actions to improve production performance.•\tManaging the resolution of critical product or equipment issues together with relevant internal teams•\tEnsuring with HR Manager support that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled, directed. Guiding, motivating, developing direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies.

Qualifications for the role

\tDiploma/ Degree in Electrical/Mechanical engineering.\tWith 3 to 5 years’ experience of Production shopfloor preferably in Traction products. \tTo ensure that Production is made based on the requirement and specification.\tExperience in managing a team of operators or technicians, ensuring productivity and efficiency.\tProven track record in improving production processes, reducing downtime, and optimizing workflow.
