Product Coordinator
Marketing Services Product Coordinator Location: Sedalia, Missouri Marketing Services Product Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of the purchasing, inventory management and distribution to sales of the various collateral and promotional items used within their assigned market. These responsibilities include receiving orders, sourcing, placing purchase orders, follow-up, verifying receipts and processing payments. The incumbent works with marketing managers, outside vendors, sales reps and sales management, procurement staff and marketing services personnel as applicable for program support, special projects and overall inventory control. Job Responsibilities: + Coordinate inventory management, inventory sourcing, vendor payments & order fulfillment for market responsibilities including special projects, mailings, etc. + Manage obsolescence and makes recommendations to product line managers on quantity and timing of product orders + Manage inventory stock closely and coordinate delivery needs with warehouse personnel and vendors to insure product is received in sufficient time for fulfillment by due dates + Analyze historical data on usage, cost and obsolescence in order to make recommendations to our marketing partners + Coordinate imprinting of imprinted order forms/marketing materials + Support in designing the collateral or forms, developing imprinting processes as applicable, production and scheduling with vendors, internal printing staff and sales as appropriate + Process orders via online purchase orders, phone, e-mail, mail. Process vendor invoices and reimbursements + Initiate assembly projects and mailings. Back up for areas as needed Required Qualifications: + High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience + 2-3 years customer service + Strong PC skills in Excel and Word + Ability to learn special proprietary software and specific software applications as dictated by market + Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills + High accuracy and close attention to detail + Strong verbal and written communication skills, assertiveness and professionalism + Ability to work individually as well as in a team environment + Self-directed with strong initiative, decision making and negotiation skills + Project management and follow-up skills + Ability to deal effectively with deadlines and confidential information Preferred Qualifications: + Bachelor degree + Previous distribution and fulfillment experience + Prior inventory management experience + Oracle, inventory control and purchasing/sourcing experience LOVE WHERE YOU WORK: + We care about your health.
