TV Producer

This role requires passion for news and culture of Mexico and the Central American Region, agility in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in new technologies and digi-friendly stories. The successful candidate needs a high level of English both written and spoken. With a focus on innovative storytelling, the successful candidate will be a self-starter skilled in producing and creating standout content for a diverse global audience.

 

About the Role

As a  a TV PRODUCER you will:

 

Identify news stories and interesting story angles, coordinating crews in across Mexico and Central AmericaProcess daily content, editing and script writing storiesProvide creative storytelling ideasReact quickly to breaking newsDemonstrate your enthusiasm for Mexico and Central America’s  news and culture to infuse stories with local flavourTackle stories from a diversity of viewpoints, experiences, and perspectives.

 

About You

To be our TV PRODUCER, you will likely have:

Excellent news judgement and a passion to deliver stories to our clientsBe calm under pressure and enthusiastic. Grit, the ability to think on your feet and deliver despite challenging conditionsEagerness to participate in planning and organisation of news storiesStrong team player, able to collaborate with text and photos across multiple officesCreativity – that special touch that can make our story telling stand outBilingual level of spoken and written English,Ability to write scripts with a high level of EnglishAbility to use a video camera is a bonus but not a must have
