Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to: Administering quality tests on produce commodities. Documenting inspection results. Filing required federal, state and food safety documents. Assisting with training support staff. Performing quality control audits on outbound shipments. Conferring with Senior Produce Inspector and/or onsite management when product does not meet contracted grade. Monitoring load sequence and affix trailer seals. Audit inventory to ensure accuracy and investigate discrepancies. Make inventory adjustment and update Inventory Control Department prior to order processing. Requirements + Proficiency in produce inspection procedures with extensive knowledge of produce quality assessment Strong understanding of warehouse operations, food safety, USDA inspections, PACA requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel Three years produce inspection experience in a warehouse or retail environment High school diploma required In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position.
