As a Process Lead, you will support production, business and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment. You will perform activities in a variety of cross-functional areas including production planning and control, quality, systems, manufacturing, equipment and facilities engineering, material management and process re-engineering. You will facilitate self-directed work teams, provide training in core skills areas to teams and peers, and interact with internal and external customers with respect to product planning, problem resolution and process improvement. You will also identify and participate in continuous improvement projects.
You should possess a specialized knowledge of systems, or equipment. You will apply some advanced skills to the position or specialization. You will respond to customer inquiries (internal and external). You may research information in order to follow up with inquiries.
You will also be responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the quality system and achieving quality objectives through daily actions.
The Opportunity:
Set up and operate equipment and processes in accordance with standard operating procedures and pilot protocols, as needed.May coordinate production scheduling activities.Monitors process order reports and performs the appropriate inventory management actions needed to accurately maintain the database and production work in process.Administers the process for inputting, updating and monitoring critical production data.Investigates production issues and provides resolution.Develops and manages documentation changes through the edit, review, and approval process.Coordinates the process order documentation review and reconciliation process to ensure all documents are processed and filed in a timely manner.Identifies drives and implements continuous improvement activities, stressing safety, quality, quantity and cost.Who you are:
You hold a High School Diploma with 3 years related experience, Associate’s degree with 1 year related experience, or a Bachelor’s degree in a related fieldYou have specialized training or certification in particular area, system or equipmentPreferred Requirements:
Process Lead certified on both Freedom II and Generation III assembly linesFour years related experienceWorking knowledge of highly automated processesLean Manufacturing certification or other relevant certificationAPICS or other relevant certificationsExperience in a regulated environmentThorough understanding of appropriate safety, health, and environmental proceduresCompetency in ERP or other Manufacturing SystemsThorough understanding of the principles and applications of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ISO 9001Demonstrated proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)Strong interpersonal skills; demonstrated effective communication skillsAbility to perform basic math calculationsAbility to apply basic Lean Manufacturing methodologyRelocation benefits are not available for this job posting.
Pay transparency
The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indianapolis is 42,800.00 - 79,600.00 USD Annual. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
