Test & Measurement Group Penang is seeking a highly skilled at Python and experienced Technical Lead to join our DevOps team. This team is responsible for creating and maintaining hardware and software infrastructure for automated testing of NI software involving NI hardware. As a Technical Lead, you will coach, mentor, and guide the team by providing technical expertise and fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain Python tools, CI/CD pipelines, monitor system performance, and troubleshoot issues. You will automate infrastructure and deployment processes, and collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure a healthy testing ecosystem. Your qualifications should include experience with software development, strong knowledge of DevOps tools and practices, and proficiency in scripting. Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication and teamwork abilities, and attention to detail are essential. **In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:** + Lead a growing team of engineers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support + Serve internal clients with testing infrastructure throughout their Software Development Life Cycle + Define, develop and maintain Python tools, and Javascript/Typescript web apps. You will write code, and review code. + Implement and follow standard methodologies for DevOps operations + Work and interact with colleagues from other divisions such as R&D, manufacturing, or other business groups with global teams (e.g. USA, India) + Act as a Project Manager (PM) and Scrum Master, ensuring commitments are delivered on time and within scope + Note this is primarily an on-site role but with some flexibility to work from home 1-2 days per week. **Who You Are:** A strong leader to provide direction to the team and staff. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, ensure clear communication, and provide coaching and development opportunities. **For This Role, You Will Need:** + B.S. or M.S. in computer science, and/or computer engineering, and/or electrical engineering + Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant field. + 2+ years' experience as a hands-on Technical Lead.
