Principal Application Developer
We are looking for full-stack developer to help improve and implement a growing set of Web Applications in a LAMP environment. We maintain large sets of legally compliant data and integrate with client web services to provide real-time availability of event records and summaries. You will be part of a fast-paced team that works on automating processes and delivering user-friendly experiences to clients and operations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: **Primary Responsibilities:** + Designing and developing web applications using LAMP and front-end technologies + Identifying, proposing, and documenting scalable solutions to complex business needs + Optimizing and maintaining existing applications + Supporting QA in testing functionality and performance + Responsible for designing, developing, and managing delivery of our data platform and architecture **Qualifications & Software/Technology:** + Proficiency in the full LAMP stack – Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP + Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery + Strong database design skills + Knowledge of OOP and MVC + Familiarity with unit testing frameworks like PHP Unit, etc. + Team experience with version control (SVN, git, etc) + 7+ years of relevant professional experience + Strong analytical skills and ability to implement business requirements in scalable designs + Experience with PHP frameworks is a plus + Experience with iOS development is a plus + Experience with Analytics and BI platform is a plus + Experience with Salesforce platform and related integration is a plus + Self-driven to implement scalable solutions to complex problems + A passion for learning new technologies + Knowledge of agile methodologies and test driven development **Education Requirements** + A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent education and/or work experience IQVIA is a leading global provider of clinical research services, commercial insights and healthcare intelligence to the life sciences and healthcare industries. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time).
