The PositionAs a PMO Specialist in Barcelona, you will play a pivotal role in steering the success of strategic project and product launches while ensuring robust governance standards. This dynamic position involves managing resources efficiently, identifying process improvement opportunities, leveraging performance data for actionable insights, and driving targeted training sessions. You will also collaborate extensively with various chapters, networks, and communities to enhance project management tools and ensure seamless information-sharing. Additionally, you will support the quality assurance of service launches, maintain comprehensive readiness packages, and foster alignment between global and local teams. Key Challenges
Project Governance & Coordination:
Ensure adherence to established standards for project governance.
Identify trends and implement improvements in governance.
Manage effective resource allocation and scheduling for projects.
Facilitate collaboration across chapters, networks, and communities to enhance project management tools.
Process Improvement & Automation:
Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and ease of use through process improvement and automation.
Leverage performance data for actionable insights and recommendations.
Training & Stakeholder Engagement:
Lead training sessions on tools and resource planning.
Maintain up-to-date training materials and intranet sites.
Drive stakeholder onboarding and engagement.
Project Management Tool Development:
Contribute to the development and rollout of new project management tools and features.
Support the GCS portfolio management process.
Create and coordinate executive summaries and reports.
Service Launch Coordination:
Maintain and update overview lists for product and service launches.
Uphold quality assurance standards for launches and phase-outs.
Facilitate communication of service-relevant information and lead launch meetings.
Prepare comprehensive launch information packages.
Foster alignment between global and local teams.
Monitor tool adoption and collect feedback for improvements.
Risk Management & Continuous Improvement:
Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Engage in projects to optimize schedules and impact changes.
Continuously collect and act on affiliate feedback for improvement.
Additional Responsibilities:
Mentor and support interns and PMO team members.
Act as a proxy for Senior PMO roles during their absence.
Support Global Support Strategy projects.
Travel Requirement:
International travel up to 10%.

Who you are as our ideal candidate:
Qualifications:
Degree in Business Economics, Life Science, Business Informatics/Information Technology, or similar studies.
Experience:
2-5 years in local affiliate/global service organization/project management offices for waterfall, agile, and hybrid projects.
Experience in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Monday).
Some experience in matrix leadership in an international environment.
Internal applicants: In-depth understanding of Global Customer Support/Service processes, strong understanding of technical service in Local/Global organizations. Experience with Roche Diagnostics Products and Business know-how is desirable.
Skills:
Fluency in English with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Project management certifications (e.g., PRINCE, PMP, PSM, SAFe, Scrum).
Strategic thinking with the ability to translate strategies into outcomes, along with strong solutions, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Well-structured and goal-oriented working methods to drive efficient solutions for complex problems.
