Job Description

Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :

The development and performing of assays to support biopharmaceutical testingPrepare and pipette small volume solutionsMaintain records and test results following good manufacturing practices (GMP)Document work clearly and perform tests accuratelyPerform tasks in a repeatable and efficient mannerCommunicate effectively with team members and client staffOrder and maintain laboratory space, inventory, and supplies

Qualifications

Basic Minimum Qualifications :

B.A. or B.S. in Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, Biomedical Eng., or related scienceAuthorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorshipMust have at least 6 months of GMP and PCR experience in a pharmaceutical environment

The ideal candidate would possess:

At least six months industry GMP laboratory experience including molecular biology techniques and small volume pipettingGeneral knowledge of cell culture, virology, molecular biology and aseptic techniques.Experience in cell culture is preferredStrong computer, scientific, and organizational skillsExcellent communication (verbal and written)Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitudeAbility to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies

Additional Information

Position is full-time and permanent, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm with over time as needed. Candidates currently living in a commutable distance to West Point, PA are encouraged to apply.
