Payment Lifecycle Analyst

 

Take a lead role in acquiring, managing and retaining meaningful relationships that deliver outstanding experience to the BAU business leads . In this role, you will balance your focus on business results by ensuring that the risk & control deliverables are met eg. Audits & control Evaluations and other Risk related deliverables. Providing Automation solutions for the team.

As a Payment Lifecycle Analyst within JPMorgan Chase, you will play a crucial role in upholding the company's strength and resilience. Job Responsibilities:

Process payments accurately by verifying and stratifying inputs in line with SOPs without errors.Identify and escalate all errors/exceptions upon identification. Respond effectively and timely to routine queries/complaints.Focus audits on all BAU activities. Identify opportunities for process efficiency and implement them in a controlled manner.Exhibit effective communication with key stakeholders. Create and update SOPs/documentation while ensuring that standards are followed; ensure that IT Policy/System accesses and other applicable JPMC policies are followed.Create an effective work environment by maintaining healthy relations with team mates. Take initiative in extending support to team members when required; keep the team informed about issues and corrective actions in the process.Cross-train by transferring knowledge to fellow members and vice versa. Provide leadership, guidance, and motivate staff to improve performance levels.Address performance issues in a timely, consistent, and professional manner. Maintain emphasis on deadlines, quality, and procedures.Manage projects and work closely with other partner sites. Provide verbal and written status updates to business partners.Provide support to team colleagues as required. Prepare MIS/Scorecard as required by senior management.Provide overall supervision/leadership to the staff and act as a back-up to the Shift Manager.Be flexible to work on night shifts/holidays/extended working hours on high volume days.

 

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities::

Post-Graduate with minimum 3 years or Graduates with minimum  6 years of overall experience with strong experience in handling SWIFT and International/ Cross Border PaymentsUnderstanding of Banking and Financial Services IndustryExcellent verbal, written communication skills and good Presentation SkillStrong analytical skillsStrong ability to understand multiple systems and platforms.Excellent detail orientation. Ability to delve into details with a view to solving issues and add value to existing functions.Ability to liaise and partner with stakeholders. Ability to understand key drivers of the business.
