As a Parts and Service Consultant, you will specialize in product support, making strategic decisions and recommendations to enhance the Percent of Parts Sales (POPS) for Caterpillar branded parts. Your role will involve leading research and providing expertise in developing and implementing strategies for repair options profitability and growth, covering EAME and APD region. You will collaborate across various functional business units to achieve parts objectives, working with global partners, districts, dealers, and customers to drive parts marketing activities and Repair Options Parts Growth. Your role will execute key processes and initiatives to support parts growth and profitability.
What You Will Do:
Conduct competitive analysis focusing on repair options and full machine rebuilds.
Conduct market/competitive research to identify new opportunities and trends.
Establish metrics to monitor and improve existing repair options strategies.
Maintain effective internal communications to align marketing strategy with organizational changes.
Support POPS and Caterpillar Parts growth through product and program development.
Assist in delivering new products and programs globally or regionally.
Gather and provide VOC (Voice of Customer) and VOD (Voice of Dealer) to various business teams.
Develop and coordinate training materials.
Support forecasting/business planning and understand promotional strategy.
Segment, target, and position market opportunities to gain market share.
What You Have:
Customer Focus: Experience in marketing, sales, or product support, along with specific industry or product knowledge. Proficiency in data analysis and use of business tools for communicating ideas.
Effective Communications: Ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
Service Excellence: Knowledge of customer service concepts and techniques; ability to meet or exceed customer needs and expectations and provide excellent service in a direct or indirect manner.
Relationship Management: Ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
Basic Requirements:
• Bachelor´s Degree
• English Pre-Advanced
Top Candidates will also have:
• Proven ability to persuade stakeholders on new methods of equipment application, new technology, and distribution methods.
• Broad business background, specific product or industry knowledge.
• Ability to identify and implement innovative solutions.
Additional Information:
• This position may require up to 20% travel.
