Descripción del empleoDefine packaging concepts and monitor packaging development projects for new product launches, ensuring compliance with technical, operational, and logistical requirements.
Implement improvements in existing packaging with a focus on cost optimization, quality enhancement, and process efficiency.
Lead or support continuous improvement (Kaizen) initiatives in collaboration with manufacturing and logistics teams to maximize resource utilization and process productivity through packaging solutions.
Prepare and maintain comprehensive packaging documentation, including Packaging Data Sheets (PDS), repacking instructions, customer-specific formats, and customer portal management when required.
Conduct or support packaging validation and testing to ensure product protection and integrity throughout the supply chain.
Request and coordinate packaging design and development with suppliers, in accordance with customer agreements, guidelines, and established standards.
Manage the packaging budget for new projects, ensuring cost control and alignment with company objectives.
RequisitosBachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in packaging engineering, preferably within the automotive, manufacturing, or logistics industries.Proven experience in managing packaging development projects from concept to implementation.Experience with customer and supplier interface, technical negotiations, and cost management.Fluent in English (spoken and written).
