Knowledge of 21C will be added advantage. * Perform day-to-day administration of Oracle databases, including backup/recovery, Capacity planning and performance tuning. * Very good knowledge about Oracle Architecture, RAC, High Availability and DR solution and OEM * Configuring High Availability and DR solution with DGMGRL * Upgrading oracle databases to latest versions * Applying latest Fix-Packs as per requirements * Monitor database performance and recommend improvements for operational efficiency * Database performance tuning by configuring database parameters. * Monitor the Oracle Alert logs files, transaction logs, archive logs and backup log * Day to day activities like TS, backup, cronjob, OEM alert * Experience with Data-Guard, Cloning, RMAN backups, Golden Gate 19c & 23AI and point in time recovery, ASM * Good To Have MySQL Admin Task expertise . **Required technical and professional expertise** * Oracle 19c/21c * RAC, Data Guard, DGMGRL * RMAN, ASM, OEM * Performance tuning and capacity planning * GoldenGate 19c/23ai * MySQL Administration (preferred) **Preferred technical and professional experience** * Administer Oracle databases (primarily 19c; exposure to 21c is a bonus) * Perform day-to-day DBA tasks including user management, tablespace monitoring, backups, and performance analysis * Plan and execute upgrades, patch installations, and routine maintenance * Design, configure, and maintain high availability and disaster recovery environments using Oracle RAC, Data Guard, DGMGRL, and ASM * Monitor alert logs, archive logs, backup logs, and OEM alerts; take corrective actions as needed * Conduct performance tuning and capacity planning to ensure maximum system reliability and uptime * Manage RMAN backups and restore strategies including point-in-time recovery * Work with Oracle GoldenGate (19c/23ai) for real-time data replication * Clone databases and handle complex data refresh requests * Manage cron jobs and automation scripts to streamline regular DBA tasks * (Nice to have) Provide basic administration support for MySQL environments IBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
