This location has seven production lines producing food 6 days per week w/ two 10 hrs shifts daily. Nestle is hiring for a AVF Operator 1. Adjusts AVF, clears jams at the AVF and trouble shoots other problems as necessary. 2. Ensures that all required paperwork is complete and accurate. 3. Ensures proper start-up at first of shift and after breaks and proper shutdown at shift end. 4. Inspects machine for proper assembly, proper placement of safety guards, cleanliness, foreign objects, worn or damaged parts, and loose bolts or nuts prior to start of shift. Sets-up machine quickly to ensure product will be ready to go at line start-up. 5 Ensures that product being run is Code 10. 6 Calculates yield and notifies Team Leader of any unfavorable reports. 7 Models the Springville Compass in all work-related activities. 8 Performs all other duties as assigned by Team Leader. Must have basic proficiency of English language to comply with verbal and written directions, signs, policies and procedures. a. Must be able to read basic/standard English words and sentences to understand signs, policies, procedures, safety rules. b. Must be able to speak and understand basic/standard words and sentences in English to obtain and relay information on policies and procedures. c. Must be able to speak and understand basic/standard words and sentences to establish and maintain a cooperative working relationship with others a collaboration as a team.
