Job Title\: National Instruments TestStand Professional (4 Years)

Job Summary\: We are seeking a skilled and experienced National Instruments TestStand Professional to join our dynamic engineering team. As a TestStand Professional, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining automated test systems using National Instruments TestStand software. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define test requirements, design and develop test sequences, debug and troubleshoot test systems, and ensure the overall reliability and efficiency of our testing processes. Responsibilities\:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test requirements and develop test strategies.Design, develop, and implement automated test systems using National Instruments TestStand software.Develop and execute test sequences, test plans, and test cases for a variety of products.Debug and troubleshoot test systems, including identifying and resolving hardware and software issues.Perform data analysis and interpret test results to identify areas for improvement and optimization.Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to integrate test systems with other equipment and systems.Ensure the reliability and accuracy of test systems by conducting system validation and verification activities.Document test system designs, procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines.Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in test automation technologies.Provide technical guidance and support to other team members as needed.Adhere to project schedules and deliver high-quality results within defined timelines.

Requirements\:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Strong proficiency in National Instruments TestStand software.Proven experience in developing and implementing automated test systems using TestStand.In-depth knowledge of test automation principles, methodologies, and best practices.Familiarity with LabVIEW programming is highly desirable.Experience with hardware and software integration, including instrument control and data acquisition.Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, VBScript, or similar.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze and interpret test data.Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate and work effectively within cross-functional teams.Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Preferred Qualifications\:

National Instruments Certified TestStand Developer certification.Experience with software configuration management tools (e.g., Git, SVN).Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
