Planning & Fulfillment Manager
Your role and responsibilitiesProduction Support :Ensure equipment is operational and in safe working order. All SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures) and JHA’s (Job Hazard Analysis) are present on equipment & adhered toConfirm quality inspections/assemblies and first piece inspections Ensure parts, tools and materials are all available for associates at the start of shiftConsistently move all waste from area to accumulation site for pick upAssist in set-ups and changeovers when necessaryIssue requests for maintenance using EAM system. Follow up on downed equipment and communicate accordingly to SupervisorConduct Safety Observation Tour on a rotational basis at least once per month on team associatesCollect data to complete necessary production reports at the close of each shiftConduct a complete HAND OFF to the next shift team leads informing them on inventory, machine issues and any other pertinent information to the present shift.Team Support:Train and motivate new team members, cross train and motivate existing team membersSupport team as a figure to answer and/or solve problems and/or issues pertaining to production/assembly needsKnow team members well enough to identify individual skill sets for strategic placement Cover absenteeism on critical equipment/buildouts if necessary, relieve associates for breaksInitiate and suggest continuous improvement projects surrounding production areaPerform other duties as assigned by authorized personnel
Qualifications for the roleHigh School diploma or equivalent, technical/manufacturing background helpful Basic math and computer skills, Excel preferred.Understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment and procedures in area Energetic, good listener, well organized with ability to prioritizeDemonstrated ability to train others to achieve standard skillset necessary for productionProblem solving and analytical skills, solid interpersonal and communication skills (verbal & written)Knowledge of company policies, rules & regulations that apply in work areaStrong understanding and adherence to safety taking ownershipCandidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
