Medical Sales Trainee (m/w/d)

What You Can Expect

As a Sales Trainee, you will have the opportunity to complete a 12 month programme that specifically prepares you for a a future career into a full-time Sales position here at Zimmer Biomet. Here you will gain a familiarization with the organisation with a special focus on our Sales activities within a global medical technology company. This experience will give you a strong understanding of how we support our customers in Surgical Procedures through to building last relationships with partners internationally. During the Trainee Programme you will work within a regional sales team based on your location. 

Following the completion of the trainee programme, we would be looking to offer you the position of Junior Sales Representative (m/w/d) which could take place throughout Germany and is not limited to the region in which your trainee programme takes place. Willingness to relocate in the future is required. 

How You'll Create Impact Support of the assigned sales departmentActive contribution of ideas and work effortsAccompanying field sales colleagues on customer visitsCustomer visits and sales meetingsPreparation of offers, presentations, and product demonstrations; support during contract negotiationsExecution of annual inventoriesParticipation in trade fairs and congresses (booth support)Support in managing excess and expired inventory (E&O)Assisting during surgical procedures (OR support)Care of small accounts as well as budget planning and responsibility in coordination with the regional sales management or sales representativesParticipation in product trainings and development of product knowledgeJob shadowing in other departments (logistics, customer service, loaner service)Participation in internal and external medical device consultant certification exams

 Your Background Completed studies in Business Administration, Economics, Medical Technology, or a comparable qualificationInitial experience in sales (preferably in the field of medical technology or healthcare) is advantageous but not mandatoryWillingness to quickly familiarize oneself with a specialized fieldStrong drive to achieve goals and ability to sell convincinglyAbility to work in a dynamic team and closely collaborate with other departmentsFlexibility and willingness to visit customers on-site (regional)Independent working style and ability to take on responsibilityTravel Expectations

With us of your company car, you will travel throughout your territory up to 80% of the time - including occasional overnight stays.
