As a Manager of Software Engineering at JPMorgan Chase within the Employee Platforms division, you lead multiple teams and manage day-to-day implementation activities by identifying and escalating issues and ensuring your team’s work adheres to compliance standards, business requirements, and tactical best practices.

You will be joining a well-established team to deliver an Agentic AI responsible for handling several million help desk queries each year. You will also have the opportunity to drive the direction of various aspects of the product in this rapidly evolving space as you bring in new ideas through monitoring if the industry and changes in practices as this space evolves.

Job responsibilities

 Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Formal training or certification on leading technology projects concepts and advanced applied experience. In addition, demonstrated coaching and mentoring experienceExperience leading technology projectsExperience managing technologistsProficient in automation and continuous delivery methodsProficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life CycleAdvanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and SecurityIn-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systemsPractical cloud native experienceExperience in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and expertise in technology disciplinesWorking experience with JavaExperience managing vendor relationships, driving them to deliver while fostering and collaborative partnership
