Primary Purpose

 


The Manager, Sponsorship and Partnership Activations, will lead and enhance the company’s sponsorship initiatives. This individual will be responsible for activating Goodyear’s sponsorships at key events, ensuring they deliver maximum value through on-site brand activations, compelling content, strategic collaborations, and high-visibility television exposure. The role will also evaluate the effectiveness of current sponsorships and assess emerging opportunities to optimize Goodyear’s investment in brand partnerships.

 

By leveraging high-profile sponsorships and integrations in sports, entertainment, and experiential marketing, this position ensures the brand is positioned at the forefront of cultural moments that matter most to our audiences. The associate will lead activation of select partnerships, ensuring they align with broader marketing objectives and deliver exceptional consumer experiences.

 

This role will be asked to creatively identify and secure opportunities for the brand to show up in innovative and impactful ways. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, the incumbent will ensure flawless execution of on-site activations, while also amplifying sponsorships through integrated marketing campaigns. This individual emphasizes collaboration across global markets, ensuring consistency and excellence in execution while adapting to regional nuances.

 

This position will also play a pivotal role in integrating the Goodyear brand with influential partners across entertainment, sports, and fashion industries (including collaborations in movies, television, and live events). The associate will be highly enterprising, capable of operating with autonomy, and consistently proactive in identifying/executing new opportunities that enhance Goodyear’s brand presence.

 

This role will also oversee Goodyear's Inner Circle program in North America by driving volume and co-op marketing opportunities with other entities.

 

 

Primary Responsibilities

 

Lead the activation of Goodyear’s sponsorships at major events, ensuring seamless execution and maximum brand visibility Develop and manage on-site activations that create engaging brand experiences for consumers Leverage sponsorship assets to generate high-quality content and maximize exposure through television, digital, and social media channels Forge strategic partnerships in entertainment, sports, and fashion industries to integrate Goodyear into high-profile platforms such as movies, 
television, and live events Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure alignment on brand messaging and activation strategies Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging sponsorship opportunities to maintain Goodyear’s leadership in brand activations Drive Inner Circle program to create incremental volume and opportunity Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for all partnerships and measure performance against objectives Assess/Analyze the performance of existing sponsorships, providing data-driven insights and recommendations for optimization Identify/Evaluate new sponsorship opportunities that align with Goodyear’s brand strategy and business objectives    

 

 

Required Education and Experience

 

Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field 7 + years of experience in sponsorship activation, brand partnerships, event marketing, or related roles Strong track record of executing high-impact sponsorship activations that drive brand value Deep understanding of sports, entertainment, and fashion marketing landscapes Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple activations and partnerships simultaneously
