PagerDuty is growing, and we are looking for an experienced Manager to help design and implement a world-class, global Salesforce environment. As a Manager, Enterprise Applications, you will lead a team of developers and contribute hands-on to design, build, and support PagerDuty's growing enterprise application environment – ensuring availability, reliability, and security for our users and critical business data.
Together with the other members of the enterprise applications team, you will have the opportunity to re-define how PagerDuty designs, builds, and maintains a growing suite of applications around the world.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of Salesforce developers and quality analysts to ensure effective implementation, customization, and maintenance of Salesforce applications. Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development. Collaborate with various stakeholders to conceptualize and interpret requirements, aligning business process efficiencies with system functionality. Drive strategic initiatives aligned with business objectives to optimize Salesforce capabilities and integration across the enterprise. Oversee day-to-day operations of Salesforce applications, including user support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution. Actively contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of Salesforce applications and integrations. Implement process improvements and automations to optimize operational and support processes. Maintain and continuously improve Lead to Order processes enabled with Salesforce, Zuora, CPQ, SpringCM, Marketo, DocuSign, and other related sales & procurement enterprise applications. Stay current with Salesforce best practices, new features, and industry trends to drive innovation and efficiency. Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Basic Qualifications:
Strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, security, and scalability considerations. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Salesforce development, with 1+ years in a managerial or team lead role. Proven leadership skills with experience in managing and motivating a team of administrators and developers. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to balance management duties with hands-on development work.
Preferred Qualifications:
Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer) preferred. 1-2 years experience with Salesforce CPQ preferred. Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., JIRA) is a plus.
