Essential responsibilities:
Maintain and use CMMS database and purchasing systems such as, but not limited to, Maximo and SAP.Work with maintenance and production to administer data for individual users, asset and part profiles in CMMS database.Audit and validate all asset, work order and purchasing data for accuracy and completenessWork with system administration and IT teams to identify, report and troubleshoot system discrepancies and problems.Develop and maintain Maximo custom reports and work order databases for Facilities Maintenance TeamTrain and support personnel in the effective use of CMMS systemsApply lean techniques to MRO parts order, receipt and inventoryBe responsible for carrying out the strategies, methods, and documentation as outlined by the Maintenance Cell LeaderWork with Supply Chain and Facilities Engineering to ensure all procurement plans support operation and production schedulesSupport various assigned projects, lean initiatives and special individual duties as required by managementQualifications/Requirements
Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university with strong computer skills (or HS diploma/GED with 3 years of facilities maintenance experience with strong computer skills)Eligibility Requirements
Ability and willingness to work overtime as requiredProficiency in the use of computer systems and current office suite programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and AccessMust be legally authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the futureThis position is onsite in Schenectady, NYDesired Characteristics
Advanced computer skillsets including programming and database managementMinimum of 1 year of experience with and knowledge of CMMS maintenance systems such as MaximoMinimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong oral and written communication skillsSelf-driven individual able to learn and solve problems with minimal supervisionBuild and maintaining effective working relationshipsAbility to handle change and work with varied personalitiesThe weekly pay range for this position is $1,215.00 - 1,612.76. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
*The company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas.
