This associate will need to bring a strong drive to exceed customer expectations and communicate transparently and directly. Above all, the associate will drive the continued operational development and successful launch of internal international freight management within the Bosch global organization. 1. Lane by lane new implementation and all on-forwarding operations 2. Daily Track and Trace activities to support Summerville Warehouse 3. Process development/improvement and training 4. Account management (customer service) functions 5. Escalation point for operational issues with all inbound freight (Air/Ocean/Domestic) 6. Sea & Air Freight bid support and requirement definition 7. Monitoring Carrier performance and take actions to improve LSP issues 8. Schedule Adherence and Damages 9. Support Damage claims and corrective actions 10. Manage inbound expedites and container deliveries with local transportation company 11. Manage ongoing action items that drive improvements in the project using CIP and PDCA processes 12. Develop strong working relationships with Bosch plant transportation teams, Transport carriers and material planning groups to: 13. Clearly understand and document requirements for daily management of int’l air and sea freight (including forecasting) 14. Proactively communicate delays or other impacts to their deliveries while streamlining communications 15. Monitor and ImproveOn-time delivery performance and reporting KPI’s 1. Support requests and tasks assigned by management 2. Support, identify, and communicate o Corrective actions o Deviations o Lean processes 3. After hours availability is sometimes required to support critical shipments as needed 4. Required to sit onsite at local warehouse to support day to day activities **Qualifications** **BASIC REQUIREMENTS:** + Must possess a minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Business, Industrial Operations, Engineering, Transportation, Logistics or Supply Chain field + Must have at least 2+ years experience in a Transportation Logistics role involving international air and sea freight **_PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:_** + _Experience with project and process management_ + _Experience with leading and managing teams_ + _Continuous improvement process experience_ + _8D/ 5-Why Problem Solving Experience_ + _Strong written & verbal communication skills: Spanish speaking a plus_ + _Strong analytical, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills_ + _Results focused, motivated and energetic_ + _Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment_ _Experience in using transportation management systems_ **Additional Information** **Indefinite U.S. work authorized individuals only. Future sponsorship for work authorization unavailable.** **Salary Range:** The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is **$80,000 - $90,000** .
