Logistics Coordinator - Order Management

In this position you will be responsible for coordinating incoming and outgoing materials and liaisons with Sales Support and Plant Warehouse and Production staff. Designs systems and analyze processes and workflows to identify and reduce inefficiency and ensure final shipped products meet quality requirements.

What You Will Do:

Coordinates order and shipping activity and communications between G St Production and Warehousing personnel with Sales/Sales Support.Acts as secondary liaison with Sales Support personnel and the KOP headquarters in answering order inquiries, shipping status, delay notifications and shipping planning.Establishes and maintains electronic processes for receiving incoming resin intermediates and raw materials.Reviews Purchase Orders and Shipping Documents to ensure accuracy and quality.Responds to customer inquiries and assists in resolving customer logistic issues.Maintains electronic shipping schedules and posts on flat screen on shipping dock.Assists in answering Zoho (CRM) lead times and Planning shipments in NHBA (ERP)Assist with overseeing repacking operations and maintaining repack schedules.  Designs and implements efficient work processes for scheduling and executing repacks including maintenance of processing of repack transfer recordkeeping and assures proper execution of repack screen data entry.Help improve/ control warehouse picking processes physically as well as exclusively electronically in NHBA.Implement systems to improve work processes to identify and reduce inefficiencies. Implements electronic transactional processes that ensure that material movements into and out of the plant electronically.Engineer repacks operating procedures and electronic inventory and repack transactional entries in NHBA.Evaluate all electronic transactions to improve real-time efficiencies in answering lead times, order planning, order acknowledgements, order delays.Initiate Lean Manufacturing initiatives to improve material movement efficiencies and reduce waste in internal plant raw material and finished goods material transfers including establishing clear warehouse organization processes for staging and storing finished goods and intermediates for production.Other duties as assigned

What you’ll need:

High School diploma or GED equivalentMinimum 5 years logistics and warehousing experienceWorking knowledge of ERP systems, supply chain management systems and Lean Manufacturing methodologies.Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteMust display professional maturity and have the ability to support and interact with all levels of management.Ability to multitask, change focus of work seamlesslySome local travel may be necessaryAssociate or Bachelor’s degree in related field (preferred)Experience working in a chemical manufacturing environmentSAP experience highly preferredInternational shipping experience preferred

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range:

25.56 - 28.40 - 31.24 USD Hourly Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
