Job Summary
As a Loan Origination Manager within the Commercial Real Estate Loan Administration team, you will oversee a group of Loan Closers, ensuring the smooth administration of diverse commercial construction and development loans. Your role is crucial in maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency, impacting both the firm and the wider community. You will work collaboratively with various departments, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and engagement.
Job Responsibilities:
• Oversee a team of Loan Closers supporting Community Development Banking and New Market Tax Credit lines.
• Ensure high analytical capabilities in reviewing due diligence items for loan closing.
• Govern pipeline assignments, quality assurance, and control.
• Participate in department projects and write procedures and guidelines.
• Engage in market meetings to develop and maintain business relations.
• Examine commercial loan booking packages for accuracy.
• Authorize the release of loan funds and related financial transactions.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and engagement.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
• Three years of experience in managing people.
• Direct experience with closing Commercial Real Estate Loans.
• Proficient in understanding commercial loan documentation and entity structures.
• Ability to directly address conflicts and escalate issues.
• Experience with employee coaching and development.
• Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Ability to interact effectively and collaboratively with departments at all levels.
• Comprehension of Loan Servicing and Construction Management process.
• Experienced with Business Applications and Microsoft Office Applications.
