As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Workforce Technology Team, you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.
Job responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement innovative software solutions with a focus on Oracle HCM SaaS productsDrive improvements and optimizations within the Oracle HCM platform, particularly in Talent and Performance ManagementProvide functional and technical support for Oracle HCM Talent Management as neededMaintain and manage business processes, documentation, JIRA practices, and Service Request (SR) trackingGain hands-on experience with Oracle OTBI, HDL/HSDL, and other relevant toolsEnsure compliance with security protocols and release management practices to mitigate riskSafeguard data privacy and ensure alignment with regulatory requirementsCollaborate with Oracle to manage and resolve service requests and proactively apply lessons learned to minimize production defectsAnalyze Oracle release notes and assess potential system impactsDeliver on design milestones and deadlines with a high level of autonomy and accountabilityPerform thorough functional testing to identify and resolve defects and root causes efficientlyRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with 5+ years of applied experienceExpertise in Oracle Talent Management and Visual Basic StudioExperience in supporting and sustaining HCM Talent Management modulesCommitment to data security, privacy, and risk management practicesProficiency in managing system configurations, JIRA workflows, and related documentationProven ability to work within large, cross-functional teams to drive resultsStrong passion for innovation and continuous improvementClear, concise communication skills and responsiveness in a fast-paced environmentStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
