Your role and responsibilities

B&R is seeking a highly motivated Lead Sales Engineer for our East Region Team, to be based in the Atlanta area. This technical professional sells automation products and services, assists customers in resolving issues, grows relationships and accounts, and suggests technological improvements. The role often collaborates with engineers and sales support to understand requirements, propose solutions, and ensure successful sales outcomes.The work model for the role is: #LI - HybridThis role is contributing to the Machine Automation division in the Southeast Region. The ideal candidate will reside in Northern Georgia and have the ability to travel up to 50% within the region. Main stakeholders are both our internal and external customers.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tGrowing sales of B&R's complete product range by working on new and existing sales opportunities. •\tLeading account and opportunity acquisition strategy; uncover and manage deep under-standing of customer teams and decision processes. •\tBuilding relationships with upper management at all Top Accounts.•\tCollaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver presentations and demonstrations regarding products and services. •\tIdentifying, defining, and developing the best technical solution and strategy for customer applications and leading in-depth technical presentations and discussions with the customers.•\tSecuring orders, ensuring timely delivery, and owning the Forecasting and Business Plan for your Territory.•\tGrowing customer share through the development and execution of an account plan that includes exceptional sales support as well as the introduction of new products and services.•\tDevelop market intelligence and document this knowledge in B&R’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.•\tAttending industry events and trade shows to network with potential customers and to represent B&R at these shows.

Qualifications for the role

\tBachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience\tFour or more years of directly related experience.\tUp to 50% travel, mostly in the region with occasional other domestic and international travel; valid driver’s license and passport required with no barriers to travel.\tAbility to understand and explain complex technical products and solutions.\tEffective interpersonal and presentation skills.\tInterested in the application of leading-edge technology across industries.\tExperience with Machine and Motion Control desirable.\tNo sponsorship is available for this position.
