Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Kubernetes Cluster Administrator to manage and maintain large-scale on-premises Kubernetes clusters. This role is key to ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of the infrastructure that supports critical applications and services.
Main Responsibilities:
Deploy, manage, and maintain on-premises Kubernetes clusters;
Monitor cluster performance and availability to ensure high stability and resilience;
Ensure cluster security through RBAC, network policies, and secure configurations;
Optimize resource usage through effective pod scheduling and service configuration;
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build and deployment;
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cluster operation and performance;
Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as patching, upgrading, and scaling;
Automate routine tasks using scripts and appropriate tools;
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless application integration.
QualificationsEducation:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
Experience:
Proven experience managing large-scale Kubernetes clusters in production environments;
Solid background in Linux system administration;
Experience with containerization technologies, especially Docker.
Know-how:
Deep understanding of Kubernetes architecture and components;
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible);
Experience with Kubernetes-related tools such as Helm, Istio, and Prometheus;
Solid knowledge of networking protocols and security best practices;
Experience with monitoring and logging tools;
Understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI);
Knowledge of storage solutions and persistent volumes in Kubernetes is a plus.
Languages:
Fluent in English (spoken and written);
Knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
