Job Description

The Kit Assembler is responsible for properly labeling and assembling medical diagnostic reagent kits to meet customer demands. This position requires completing necessary paperwork associated with kit assembly and requires an understanding of work orders, lot control numbers, expiration dates, and quality control systems.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Help manage raw materials by keeping refrigerators organized and reagent kits properly storedAppropriately label bottles and kits with proper lot control numbers and expiration datesCorrectly assemble reagent kits based on work orders in a timely mannerComplete assembly records and any necessary paperwork for kit assemblyExamine and inspect kits and containers to ensure accurate labeling and packing specifications are metAssist the Quality Assurance Department with document revisionsOrganize, complete and file paperwork as neededVerify shipments as neededPerform additional duties as assigned by supervisory or management personnel

Qualifications

Education/Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; less than one-year related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

Computer Skills

Internet Explorer, Chrome, or FirefoxAbility to learn software programs as neededProficient with Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, and Outlook

Knowledge, Skills, and Other Abilities

Excellent time management abilitiesDependableAbility to communicate effectivelyAbility to multi-taskKnowledge of FDA Quality System Regulations (cGMP) and International Standards (ISO) pertaining to medical devices.Ability to work in a fast paced, team environmentGreat organizational skills and strong attention to detailMust be able and willing to adhere to corporation personnel policies and practices, including attendance and punctuality requirements

Certificate and Licenses

Must maintain a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Math Ability

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimal. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Language Ability

Must have the ability to perform all the following in English:

Additional Information

Compensation:

Hourly: $17.00-$22.00

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm
