As a Junior Product Controller in our Warsaw team, you will provide crucial support to the Front Office and collaborate with other members of the organization to strengthen controls and support the data integrity of the bank’s records. You will have the opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of the entire function and a full oversight of the workings of one of the World’s leading investment banks. This role offers the chance to promote impactful change, generate efficiencies, and work with markets trading desks under the Macro, Equities or Spreads businesses.
Job responsibilities:
Conducts daily P&L reporting and month-end close processesReviews and verify the profit and loss attributionEnsures accurate trade activity capture and valuation of various financial productsPartners with the business to drive forth and implement robust controls and new business initiativesProvides detailed analysis and reporting on the financials to desk heads, business managers, and senior finance managementDrives coordination across various front & back office support functions to ensure resolution of control and reporting issues in an accurate and timely mannerServes as an analytical and project support resource for product controlPrepares and oversee the quality of the daily and monthly Balance Sheet reportingHandles various ad-hoc requests on a daily basisRequired qualifications, skills and capabilities:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field1+ years of experience in Accounting, Finance or related fieldStrong analytical, problem-solving abilities, and detail orientedGood written and verbal communication skillsTeam playerStrong Excel skillsAbility to multitask and prioritize effectivelyEager to challenge current processesPreferred qualifications, skills and capabilities:
