**What You Can Expect**
The IT Technician performs a combination of the following technical IT support activities with minimal supervision:
Works with a team and effectively across team boundaries and organizational levels to provide customer-first technical support for key IT assets, including end-user assets, networks, security systems, communication systems, etc. May provide support in-person or virtually. Occasionally provide after hour and weekend support. Understands, executes and helps define IT process and standards, including change/incident management, software installation, configuring, etc. Proactively enforces worldwide and local security policies to ensure ZBS information assets are protected. May be required to lift/move technical equipment. Applies principles, concepts and practices of the ZBS Competency Model at the Technician level.
This position is based at our **GBS office in Bogotá, located in Usaquén** .
**How You'll Create Impact**
Onboarding and User Support:
Preparation and assignment of computer equipment to new users
Onboarding process for new hires
Completion of the work tools delivery policy form (Jotform)
Updating the “New Hires Password” file with assigned equipment data
Delivery of monitors to end users
On-site and remote support to end users
Management of the return of work tools from offboarded staff
Updating the Smartsheet form for user offboarding
Infrastructure and Systems Management:
Monitoring and resolving LAN and Wi-Fi internet connection issues
Updating servers, routers, and switches in coordination with Zimmer's Network Team
Monitoring and resolving issues with surveillance and access control systems
Management and organization of the IT storage room
Changing locker and peripheral batteries and managing access codes
Configuration and setup of meeting rooms
Portal and Administration Tools Management:
Management of the Dell Premier portal
Management of the Microsoft Intune Admin portal
Management of the Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Admin) portal
Ticket management via the ServiceNow system
Updating local inventory and ServiceNow records
Inventory and Procurement:
Management and updating of the IT Purchases Inventory
Preparation of cost center assignment reports for distributed items
Management of purchase orders with vendors
Receiving equipment from vendors
Support and coordination with technology providers
Communication and Content Management:
Attendance to scheduled meetings
Monitoring and updating content for GBS digital screens
Preparation of recording equipment for GBS events

**Your Background**
+ English proficiency is required (B2)
+ 1-3 years of experience in computer maintenance and support or equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ High School diploma required; bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field preferred
+ Technical IT certifications preferred.
