About the role

As an IT Support Coordinator at Thomson Reuters, you will complete different functions:

Reportorial Requirements to FTZ

Monthly inventory reporting to FTZHeadcount vs. Laptop assignment summaryAll IT Assets Inventory (Full Details)Provide any requested / needed information to Compliance Team for periodic reporting of asset inventoryPrepare audit requirements and facilitate audit activities scheduled/required by PEZAProvide the necessary documentation to Compliance Team for the Farm-In and Farm-out of assetsTrack items, provide details, and prepare documentation for defective or obsolete assets that are for disposal

Asset Inventory Management

Track and document deployment and return of all assets – laptops, peripherals, mobile phones, headsets, etc.Conduct periodical physical count of all IT assets (deployed, in stock, for disposal, etc.)Generate and place tags for each assetEnsure that asset inventory list us up to date and accurate

Handle Asset Requests (New or Replacement)

Assign IT assets to TR employees / contractors based on local IT ticket requestsCoordinate with local IT to test if assets are in good working condition prior to deploymentPack and organize work tools for deploymentPrepare documentation for release / return of assetsEnsure all documents are signed and kept accordinglyWork with Facilities team for the pick-up or delivery of requested work tools

Receive Returned Assets

Validate the asset tag numbers and serial numbers of returned assets based on the Asset Management trackerCheck and note physical condition of returned assetsCoordinate with local IT to check the working condition of returned assetsIdentify whether assets can be kept in inventory for redeployment or for disposal

Onsite back-up support

Assists new hires with laptop set-up concerns during New Hire Orientation in periods with guidance from remote IT support teamReimaging of laptops with guidance from remote IT support teamProvides hands and feet support for site issues with guidance from remote IT support team

About You

You’re a fit for the role if your background includes:

Advanced English proficiency. Candidates will be tested before setting up an interviewOver 2 years of experience in IT support or help desk roles, preferably in a multinational company. Higher education in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience with ITIL-based service management frameworks and/or Six Sigma certification is a plus.Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile is a plus. Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems. Familiarity with fundamental technology and network concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and IT security best practices. Strong verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills are necessary. Significant experience performing root cause analysisCustomer-oriented mindset with a focus on service excellence. Independent worker with excellent time management and follow-through. Ability to be highly productive independently and in close collaboration within a team, capable of multi-tasking and thriving in a fast-paced, customer-driven, sometimes unpredictable—but engaging—environment. Flexible for hybrid work schedules, accommodating both in-office and remote work.
