Job Description

Responsible for Inventory Controlling functions on plant level:

Report official Inventory KPIs in Month End closing, Current Forecast and Year End ClosingRevision and analysis of inventory valuation calculation for Current Forecast and Year End ClosingRegular analysis of Inventory developmentProvide guidance and consulting to plant departments in regards of Inventory requirementsLead plant coordinator for physical inventories and / or continuous cycle counting processLead team of cycle counters in Controlling department (content & disciplinary)Execute inventory accounting entries (e.g., reserves, inventory adjustments, etc.)Governance role for Excess & obsoletes scraping process; ensuring compliance to internal and external requirementsResponsible to provide financial information related to Inventory in internal and external auditsDrive continuous improvement for Inventory Controlling processes

QualificationsCost Accounting or Inventory Controlling background (at least 3 years of experience)Advanced English is a mustExcel intermediate to advanced levelSAP knowledgeStrong analytical skills and able to work with high amounts of dataLogical & structured thinkingLeadership focus on technicians level
