Inventory Clerk- 2nd shift
Eaton’s ES AMER HQ MFGSC division is currently seeking a Inventory Clerk- 2nd shift at our Duncan, SC location! The hourly rate for this position is $20.70 per hour. **Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Below are a few of the outstanding benefits that we offer:** + Health benefits effective day one of employment + Retirement benefits, Paid Parental Leave, Educational Assistance Program, Wellness Reimbursement, and more! **What you’ll do:** The Inventory Clerk role is primarily responsible for maintaining location and inventory accuracy via cycle counts, investigation of inventory discrepancies, and reconciliation through inventory adjustments. **In this function, you will:** • Count with a high level of quality and integrity to ensure inventory accuracy. • Analyze and investigate transactional data for styles to detemine root cause of discrepancies. • Use available system tools including WMS, Vista, Sterling Business Center, and MS Office as needed for analysis, investigation, and reporting. • Apply Eaton product knowledge to assist in driving location and inventory accuracy improvements. • Collaborate with Inbound and Outbound departments to develop a strong base knowledge of their functions to support investigations and reporting of inventory discrepancies in efforts to drive continuous improvement. • Record any measurable statistics which the position impacts such as production expenses, maintenance expenses, sales volumes, payroll costs, capital expenditures, research budgets, cost of purchases, value of inventories controlled, employees supervised (direct and indirect). • Ensures safety guidelines are met by the proper palletizing, re‐palletizing, and restacking of product. • Performs other miscellaneous warehouse‐related and safety duties. **Qualifications:** **Required (Basic) Qualifications:** • High School diploma or GED (General Education Degree) from an accredited institution is required. • Must have a minimum of 1 year of forklift experience • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future. • No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from geographical area limitation. **Preferred Qualifications:** • Previous experience with the following softwares: Manhattan Warehouse Management System (WMS), and Vista. • Prior Eaton product knowledge **Position Success Criteria:** • Ability to maintain compliance with procedures and policies. • Must be detailed orientated and able to focus on tasks at hand. • Must be able to lift, push, and pull 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation. • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently with little to no supervision. • Must have consistent high performance in quality measurements. • Ability to perform other duties as assigned.
