The PositionIntern - UX Researcher/Designer

Department Summary
Review ongoing research data and user feedback to track progress and identify patterns.
Design and refine research studies (e.g., interview guides, surveys, usability tests).
Conduct user research sessions, either remotely or in-person, with targeted user groups.
Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to extract actionable insights.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product managers, designers, developers) to align research with project goals.
Present research findings through reports, visualizations, or presentations.
Advocate for the user perspective during team discussions and product planning.
Continuously update research documentation and refine methods for efficiency.
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in UX and informatics.
The Opportunity
To uncover user needs and workflows through research, guiding the design of intuitive, compliant informatics solutions. The role ensures user-centered decisions that enhance data accuracy, efficiency, and usability in pharma environments.
Plan and execute user research using qualitative and quantitative methods (e.g., interviews, usability tests, surveys, data analysis).
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to integrate user insights into the design and development process.
Analyze user behavior and identify key pain points, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
Deliver clear, compelling research findings through reports, presentations, and workshops.
Advocate for user needs and ensure alignment with business and technical goals.
Continuously refine research processes and tools to enhance efficiency and impact.

Who You Are (Required)
Must have graduated from a University degree program.
Experience conducting UX research in a technical or healthcare informatics environment is a plus.
Proficiency in research tools and methodologies. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Majors: Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Informatics, or a related field.
