Internship - Product and Portfolio Health
Your role:
Be part of a professional team managing product and portfolio health globally, an initiative sponsored by the Philips Executive Committee (C-Suite). The members of this program work closely with R&D, Procurement, Product Management and Supply chain to manage projects related to driving our product to benchmark on cost quality and resilience, as well as to the most effective portfolio of products in our catalogue.
You will report to the Senior Director of Product & Portfolio Health, and guided by the Senior Mgr in Europe.
Data analysis to track the progress and identify new risk
Project manage portion of the program
Maintaining the funnel of product/portfolio improvements
Support ideation workshops
Bring new solutions/ technology to minimize manual activity
You're the right fit if:
We are looking for an individual who is structured, has a can-do mindset, not afraid of learning new things, self-driven, creative, analytical, organized, committed to deadlines, and who can communicate easily with all levels at the organization. You should be able to take ownership for your actions, be very tech and business savvy, willing to innovate and be an advocate for change. It is very important to be comfortable with dynamic environments with limited guidance. We value a good sense of humor and social initiatives you would like to bring in.
.You are currently studying towards your Bachelor of Science/Master of Science in areas like Logistics, Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Management, Operations Research or related study.
Analytical thinking and problem solving mindset.
Data management and strong capabilities in Excel, Power BI or similar required. AI literacy.
Strong English written and verbal communication skills required.
Interest in project management
In return, we offer you:
Monthly full-time allowance between €500 - €700 gross, depending on educational level and if you would need to relocate to The Netherlands. If you will perform a part-time internship you will receive the allowance pro-rata.
Housing compensation, in case of relocating to the vicinity of the office, €300,- net if location is in the vicinity of Amsterdam, €255,- net for all other Philips locations. You need to provide a rental contract of the land lord, and your normal home-work travel distance need to be more than 50 km or travel time (one way trip) need to be more than 1.5 hours.
Travel compensation, if you are not eligible for a free public transport card; you will receive max. €192,- net.
Paid holidays per internship term.
The opportunity to buy Philips equipment at our Philips shop.
