Overview
We are seeking an Intermediate QA Analyst with a strong background in manual web testing and a keen eye for detail. This role will support the redesign and migration of cdmsmith.com to Sitecore XM Cloud, playing a key role in ensuring a secure, stable, and accessible digital experience. While direct Sitecore experience is a plus, we welcome QA professionals who bring solid web testing expertise and a genuine interest in learning CMS platforms.
Key Responsibilities
• End-to-End Testing: Validate new features and fixes across dev, QA, staging, and production environments.
• Manual Testing: Execute test cases for UI/UX workflows, forms, and responsive design across multiple browsers and devices.
• CMS Testing: Validate published content, workflows, personalization rules, and multilingual support using Sitecore.
• Release & Regression Testing: Support test cycles during deployments and hotfixes to ensure production readiness.
• Defect Tracking: Log and verify issues in tools like Jira, ServiceNow, or similar platforms.
• QA Documentation: Maintain test plans, scenarios, and sprint-level QA metrics.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with developers, analysts, designers, and vendors to ensure quality and alignment.
• Process Improvements: Recommend enhancements to testing workflows; assist in automation and CI/CD initiatives where possible.

**Minimum Qualifications:**
Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or related discipline. 3 years of related experience. Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands. Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
Required Qualifications (Must-Have)
• 3+ years in QA roles focused on web-based applications.
• Experience in Agile or Scrum environments, with sprint-based delivery
Technical Skills
• Strong in manual testing: test planning, case creation/execution, defect’s lifecycle.
• Cross-browser/device testing and responsive UI testing.
• Hands-on experience with QA/project tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Azure DevOps).
• Familiarity with basic API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger).
Soft Skills
• Strong attention to detail and an analytical mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate within cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)
• Sitecore experience (especially 9.x or XM Cloud), including validation of templates, components, or workflows.
• Experience testing multilingual websites, personalization, or SEO/accessibility (e.g., WCAG).
• Familiarity with test automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Exposure to CMS platforms like WordPress or Drupal.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control tools (e.g., Git).
• Knowledge of cloud hosting platforms like Azure, AWS, or Vercel.
• Awareness of Sitecore PowerShell Extensions (SPE) or other Sitecore-specific QA tools.
Certifications (Nice-to-Have)
• ISTQB Foundation Level or equivalent QA certification.
• Certified Selenium Tester or other automation-focused credentials.
