The Global Incentive Compensation Systems Team is responsible fordeveloping, maintaining, testing, and administering systems used for
compensating the Salesforce sales organization, as well as tools used by
our internal teams to perform their job functions.
As a Senior QA Engineer, you will test code changes in Spiff, Xactly, ETL
processes, and internal compensation tools against business
requirements. You will leverage your strong technical skills and
functional expertise to identify and resolve bugs, prevent issues in
Production, and maintain code quality as the Systems team expands its
scope of automation. QA Engineers work closely with Developers to
ensure that all functionality is working as designed and commissions
are calculated accurately, and we partner with cross-functional teams
including Compensation Operations to support UAT.
In addition to testing efforts, we are seeking an experienced person for
Test Coordination to manage and oversee User Acceptance Testing
(UAT), End-to-End (E2E) testing, and Parallel Processing efforts for
multiple systems. In this role, you will collaborate with external teams,
ensuring seamless coordination and communication to meet testing
milestones and deliverables. You will be responsible for developing
comprehensive test plans, executing test strategies, and managing
defect tracking and resolution. The ideal candidate will possess strong
organizational and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of
leading cross-functional teams in complex testing environments. Your
ability to foster a collaborative atmosphere and drive results will be
essential to the success of this role.
Essential Functions:
Test Coordinator to manage and oversee UAT, E2E testing, and
Parallel Processing efforts, ensuring seamless coordination and
communication with external teams.
Perform QA testing for code changes in Xactly Incent, Xactly
Connect, and internal compensation tools
Prepare test scripts, set up test data, and execute test cases
Identify, report, and track bugs through resolution
Capture and document test results, ensuring compliance with
Finance and IT audits
Execute regression testing and smoke testing
Coordinate with developers and product owners to understand and
validate business requirementsWork cross-functionally with Compensation Operations team to
support UAT and provide expertise
Job Requirements:
Hands on Experience in Incentive Compensation Management
domain with (Xactly/SPIFF/Varicent/EverStage or Captive IQ).
Strong understanding of incentive compensation models,
including commission structures, bonus programs, and sales
performance metrics
Good to have Salesforce platform knowledge or some Salesforce
certification.
Strong experience in Testing, Test Strategy design, Test planning
& exposure to test metrics.
Experience working with IT development staff on complex
projects.
Familiarity with Agile (Scrum) framework and regression testing is
preferred
Ability to make decisions and work with minimal direction even
under pressure
Strong analytical and mathematical skills
Better to have some certification on testing along with ICM tools.
Education & Experience:
A minimum of 5 years of testing experience is required. 6 to 8
years of experience is preferred.
Strong experience with compensation systems (Spiff, Everstage,
Captivate IQ, Varicent, or Xactly)
