Health, Safety & Environment Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to improving Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) performance in your assigned area of responsibility to cultivate a high-performance culture with a strong focus on HSE. Each day, you will support the business by applying in-depth HSE knowledge and offering solutions and advice. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring effective risk management through HSE excellence along the ABB value chain. This is a 100% on-site role.The work model for the role is: #LI - OnsiteThis role is contributing to the Electrification - Distribution Solutions - Busway Division in Selmer, TN area.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tReporting HSE incidents to the management and relevant stakeholders and taking appropriate actions.•\tFacilitating, assisting, and providing guidance on incident investigations to learn better ways for mitigating risks.•\tProviding feedback to the management and employees on lessons learned and best practices from within their own unit and across ABB.•\tSupporting and driving behavioral change through the local implementation of group-wide and business-specific performance improvement programs and practices.Our team dynamicsYou will join a dynamic, talented, and high performing team, where you will be able to thrive.

Qualifications for the role

Associates Degree OR 5 years prior experience in HSEPreferred Bachelor’s degree in Health/Safety or Environment or Nursing, LPN, RNExperience with Data Analytics, Report Compiling and Excel Data ManagementPrior experience supporting Health, Safety and Environment or working in an HSE roleCandidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
