As a Vice President in High Grade Credit Sales, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing key investor client relationships, including day-to-day execution of all products, including but not limited to; corporate bonds, credit default swaps, credit indices, index options, index tranches and alternative/illiquid opportunities. You will need the ability to be fluent and navigate in these products effectively among a broad range of clients (asset managers, insurance accounts, pension funds, banks, sovereign wealth funds, corporations, hedge funds etc.) along with idea generation and market insight. In addition, you will bring a collaborative approach working with our business partners in trading, research, and syndicate to provide comprehensive client coverage across the platform. The ideal candidate has a strong intellectual curiosity, a high degree of organization and attention to detail, and the ability to perform well under high pressure situations with the appropriate degree of urgency.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for sales and execution for an established institutional clientele. Maintain key investor relationships across a broad spectrum of client types. Collaborate with partners in trading, syndicate, and research to provide comprehensive client coverage of the broader platform. Cross-sell other Credit/Rate/Equity/Private products to client base.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
6+ years of experience in sales, Series 7 & 63 requiredDeveloped and established relationships with key investment grade investor clients at both trading and portfolio management levelsCritical thinker and driver of trade concepts and themes for investor clientsStrong understanding of fundamental product knowledge and market structureClear, logical thinker with strong qualitative skill set including effective communication and presentationStrong team player that partners well with principals of the platform including Research and Trading
