Job Summary:
As the Senior Security Manager you are tasked with the 24/7 management of security operations for JPMC buildings in Ireland. This role involves overseeing daily safety and security operations, managing contract guard forces, and implementing strategic security plans. This position is based in Dublin, Ireland.
Job Responsibilities:
• Oversee and support daily security operations for JPMC premises.
• Manage JPMC’s contract guard force, including training, staffing levels, and testing. Maintain a strong relationship with the guard force vendor.
• Ensure the protection of personnel, physical properties, and financial assets.
• Analyze security needs and direct the implementation of security measures, including security systems and cost estimation against calculated risks.
• Provide health and safety support.
• Support crisis management efforts.
• Train staff and colleagues in incident and risk management, building evacuation, personal and office safety, and general physical security awareness.
• Lead project management initiatives.
• Manage and maintain all technical security infrastructures.
• Oversee event security and executive protection.
• Ensure controls and oversight are in place.
• Liaise with law enforcement.
• Coordinate with senior management to identify risks and ensure business continuity during crises.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
• Fluent in English, both oral and written.
• Proficient in physical and technical security systems, including access control and CCTV.
• Skilled in conducting site risk assessments and security measures implementation.
• Experience managing manned guarding contracts.
• Expertise in executive protection and event security.
• Comprehensive knowledge of staff safety, security operations, rules and regulations, and the protection of people, data, and property.
• Knowledge of local health and safety, fire, and life safety regulations.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in high-pressure environments.
• Capable of working efficiently in fast-paced settings while consistently producing error-free work and meeting deadlines.
• Experience in emergency response operations and crisis management.
• Proficient in MS Office and possess excellent PC skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong administrative and organizational skills.
• Effective communicator, both internally and externally.
• Ability to work well within a team and independently.
• Previous experience in a similar position is essential.
