Job DescriptionThe Hazardous Waste Team Leader will be responsible for leading a team of 5-10 employees that collects and categorizes both hazardous and regulated medical waste for a scientific testing services company. The Team Leader will make work schedules for employees, coach, train, and mentor employees, and ensure the company’s compliance with all applicable environmental regulations (including filing compliance reports when necessary). The Team Leader will be responsible for arranging waste pickups with external waste transportation companies, assessing levels of waste production, and leading efforts to reduce the production of hazardous and regulated medical waste.
