The Opportunity
 

Our team is part of the chapter Documentation & Tools Management, which enables Research & Development to accelerate product delivery by providing internal tool management, product documentation services, training, and audit support, and driving internal digitization initiatives.

You will become part of a team that connects our diagnostics R&D through a common foundational toolset. By taking on the central ownership of internal software tools, we are pushing harmonization, simplification, and effectiveness while ensuring tool compliance through a core group of CSV experts. By sharing our expert tool knowledge, bringing power users together, and introducing changes to the business, all team members aim to be a catalyst for digitalization going into the future.

Your focus will be the license management, software tool management, archiving, and computerized system validation. You will help the internal software projects focus on their main objectives. Together with the whole team, you will learn from and collaborate with our customers and adopt our processes and tools. You will ensure the Roche internal development standards and best practices in all areas of the team. In this role, you will contribute to the following major activities:

License management of components, development, and office tools across multiple sites

Being a link between software projects, procurement departments, quality teams, Global IT, and vendors.

Support Management to optimize license costs

Software tool management to ensure compliance in a regulated software development environment

Being a link between projects, Quality, Validation & Verification, and Cyber Security departments.

Manage long-term archiving of software releases (gold masters & source code)

Responsible for maintaining high data consistency and reliability in all service areas

Create reporting requirements in collaboration with the BI team and our internal customers

Lead the V&V process of internal software application(s) according to mQMS Q&V

Guide tool owners and software projects in the CSV and general tool compliance

Authorize validation plan, test plan, test cases, validation/test reports, and deviations/faults report

Plan, communicate, execute, and track V&V activities and deliverables for each development iteration (from planning phase to release in operational use) to ensure release delivery on time.

Provide consultation to end users on IQ/OQ/PQ with software upgrade

Setup, communicate, and coordinate testing (i.e, User Acceptance Test) with stakeholders across global functional teams

Who Are You?

Recent graduates with a University degree or Master's in Sw Engineering, Quality Assurance or related technical fields

Effective interpersonal communication skills and able to interface with cross-functional teams.

Strong analytical skills, problem-solving solving and attention to detail

Excellent personal productivity, organizational, and administrative skills with proven abilities to work independently.

Able to foster new ideas while displaying a hands-on attitude. 

Requirements in quality systems, controlled documentation, and change control.

Proficient in Spanish & English (C1+)
