The PositionGraduate Intern - Software Engineer FrontEnd

The Opportunity
This position aims at offering the opportunity to develop competences in the area of FrontEnd Development, integration and validation of Software FrontEnd Web Components For the different Roche Brands and Products User Interfaces. Our team is responsible for developing the reusable components in a way that they are reusable and provide an easy-to-interact and enriched experience to Roche Clients using our products and IT solutions.
The position will support this ambition by covering activities related to gaining understanding of requirements at the business and technical level, designing and developing solutions, validation, and integration with other solutions. The role will also provide technical requirements to development teams when appropriate.
How would your day-to-day life look like?
You will be part of a development team based in Sant Cugat and Turkey and as part of it, you will join their Agile ceremonies (SAFE Framework). You will work in some activities from your team backlog related to your role. You will gain expertise in FrontEnd development, testing and deploying.
You also will interact with clients (R&D organizations integrating web components) and UX design team. You will be in the office an average of 1 to 2 days per week together with the rest of the team for specific testing needs. In addition, you will need to travel 3-4 times per year to Switzerland or other client locations.

Who Are You?Recent graduates with a University degree in Informatics, Telecommunications and Biotech/Bioengineering, or related fields.
Experience with AI development Tools, FrontEnd (Angular, React, Javascript, HTML)
You are a person with high curiosity and a willingness to learn from other domains.
You try to find autonomy in your work and are able to ask for help or advice in order to ensure you are doing valuable work.
