Introduction

We are seeking a Graduate Procurement and Logistics to join our team. You will play a crucial role in supporting the procurement and logistics functions for Minerals Capital Projects in the Australia Pacific region. You will assist in sourcing and purchasing goods, negotiating savings and managing suppliers and coordinating shipments.

Based at our West Perth office, this position, you will report to the Director, Procurement.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and gain valuable experience which provides exposure to all Business Lines within the Minerals portfolio.  Most important, is a self-motivated, proactive individual with a positive attitude and a can-do approach to join our team.

What you’ll do

•    Assist in the procurement of goods for capital projects, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
•    Liaise with suppliers, project managers and engineering.
•    Raise and manage Purchase Orders in SAP.
•    Support the logistics team in coordinating shipments.
•    Maintain accurate records of purchases and deliveries.
•    Continuous improvement focus
•    Collaborate with internal departments and projects to understand procurement needs and provide solutions.
•    Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
•    Identify, deliver and record cost savings.
•    Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Essential

•    Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Desirable
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
•    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•    Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
•    Familiarity with SAP is a plus.
