What You'll Do
This role is a member of the Global Travel Team. The Global Travel Function sets the vision and overall strategic direction of the Global Travel Program, delivers the latest thinking in the areas of indirect sourcing where BCG has a substantial spend including air, hotel, rail and car rental associated with internal and client travel, service operations & travel technology while leading the change required to minimise travel cost and its associated infrastructure. Our small but diverse team is highly strategic, collaborative and solution oriented.
The Digital Enablement Coordinator will focus on support and maintenance of new and existing technologies such as travel mobile applications, online booking tools and the Global Travel Portal.
They will also be responsible for liaising with the travel agency and technology vendor point of contact as well as servicing any internal travel technology enquiries/support for our BCG travellers.
The Digital Enablement Coordinator will also be assisting with other projects and requests as they arise such as/and not limited to Profile Management tools, mobile applications or Business Travel intelligence tools. The specific responsibilities of this position will include, but not be limited to:
Acting as a customer service point of contact and assisting with any individual or travel booker enquiries:Acting as navigational support for the online booking tools and the Global Travel PortalFollowing up on cases and liaising between the vendor and the traveller or the travel team to resolve any technical issues in accordance with the applicable service level agreementFacilitating the communication between business as well as solution developersActing as a reference point for maintenance and updates of online booking tools, Global Travel Portal and mobile booking applicationsInvolved in deployment of new tools and tool functionalities across all marketsSupporting the implementation of any travel technology related projects while ensuring timely deliveriesSupporting with preparation of periodic reports, distributing to key stakeholders and fielding inquiries related to activityMonitoring KPIs defined by Global Travel for the area of travel technologySupporting the Global Travel Team with any additional tasks/projectsYou're good at

We are looking for an individual with approximately 1-3 years of relevant work experience who can bring knowledge to the BCG travel function. We expect that the individual will possess both the ‘technical’ qualifications for the role as well as other ‘intangible’ attributes.
The technical qualifications include:
Technical background – IT/Engineering/Computer ScienceService minded with high focus on support / helping usersSound analytical skills and high attention to detailKnowledge of Excel - ability to design, enhance, and maintain spreadsheets; knowledge of formulas and pivot tables (VBA would be a plus)Experience with SQL design and reporting functions would be a plusSound interest in HTML, CSS and JavaScriptSome hands-on experience with Python, ideally applied to improving workflowsEnthusiasm for Generative AI and how it can add value in a business contextStrong knowledge of MS OfficeExperience in the Travel Industry and/or with corporate online booking tools would be a plusExcellent communication skills and capability to present findings into understandable documentsDemonstrated interest in new technologyRecord of gearing up quickly with steep learning curveExperience from supporting small size technology projectsBoston Consulting Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
