Global Project Management and Sales Operations Leader
Your role and responsibilitiesAs part of the End-to-End Global Product Group Power Protection, we are looking for a motivated leader for our Global Center of Expertise for Bid & Proposal. The role will report to the Global Project and Sales Operations Manager.The main responsibilities include: •\tManage the Center of Expertise for Bid & Proposal with a team of 8 to 10 engineers globally•\tOffers technical advice and support on enquiry from customers, channels and sales engineers regarding ABB Power protection products/systems/applications•\tCustomized solutions/special features development, large projects bids (specifications analysis, bid management from offering to PO)•\tIdentifies and manages potential risks in bids and contracts, participates in risk reviews, and regularly reports the status of bids, analyzing reasons for lost and won tenders.
Qualifications for the roleUndergraduate degree or above, in Electrical Engineer or any other field.5+ years of experience in Sales, Sales Support, Application Engineering, Bid Management or similar, preferably as a team leaderKnowledge about Power Protection Product Offerings (UPS, PCS, PDU, STS etc.), industry experience in Datacenter is a plusExperience with relevant ABB sales processes and tools, including bid preparation, risk review, full cost model, salesforce.com, etc.Strong influencing skills working across functions, geographies, and segments.Fluent written and oral communications in English
