Position overview

We are looking for a reliable and analytical manager with the ability to work independently, who enjoys communicating and working with a variety of stakeholders in an effective and timely way. This position is partially operational, partially coordinating. Main area of focus would be countries from Central Europe - Poland, Czech, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania. Apart from making sure that operations are going smoothly Team Manager will be responsible for contact with business representatives in local entities. 

 

Responsibilities

Coordinating of work of small team of accountants (2,3 people) Approval of balance sheet accounts reconciliations Approvals of general ledger manual jounral entries Proactive performing the period-end closing activities Assisting with internal and external financial and compliance audits, including SOX controls

Required qualification

Previous experience in similar role Great understanding of shared service operations, ideally combined with the governance of (partially) outsourced activities Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills Advanced skills with SAP and Excel The working language is English which has to be fully mastered; good knowledge of any other language from CEE region (i.e. Polish, Czech, Slovak, Hungarian, Romanian) would be an advantage
