Job DescriptionEnsuring implementation of corporate governance in the area of customs affairs, central directives and local requirementsEnsuring and monitoring implementation of assigned customs requirements by the Bosch entities, governance of customs compliance issuesMonitoring legal changes and preparing local implementation schemes issuing regional regulations when necessary, being the second level support of customs topicsMonitoring, supporting and communicating FTA/GSP regulationsCommunication with the customs authorities outside of operational processesResponsible for customs valuation decisions for cross-functional tasks and identifying additional valuation methods to be appliedDetermination and final deployment of the correct customs tariff number based on the applicable national legal basis and with help of the centralized tariff classification process through leading system SAP GTS. Requesting binding tariffs when necessaryAccompanying official customs audit and organizing the audit execution procedureFollowing up customs litigation As per customs risk management concept, setting up and monitoring controls and follow up mitigation measuresCoordination of non operational foreign trade projectsMembership in non-governmental organizations in customs and foreign trade

QualificationsBachelor's degree in business administration, or a comparable subjectSignificant work experience in customs and foreign trade with profound expertiseSAP knowledgeHS Code identification experienceAbility and experience to interact with customs authoritiesBusiness fluent in written and spoken EnglishDemonstrated engagement and willingness to collaborate in a fast changing, international environment.
