Financial Analysis- Analyst

As a Financial Analysis Analyst in our Finance team, you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm. You will majorly be responsible for partnering across the firm to provide financial and strategic analysis, Timesheet automation & reporting and Headcount reporting. Our Performance Excellence (PE)  teams are responsible for a wide range of activities including Process Design & Excellence, PXT Reporting & Insight GM/ Interim Automation & Visualization, Expense Transparency, Tools Transformation. You will analyze, prepare, and reconcile accounting and technical data as well as prepare reports, while always thinking of and devising ways to streamline and minimize cycle times through automated applications and process improvement. You will also help develop recommendations effecting business procedures and operations and maintain financial and reporting systems. In addition, you will assist the department and other team members with special projects or components of other projects as needed.

Job Responsibilities :

Support the team in governance by ensuring correct configuration of tools, gathering metrics, and investigating user issues.Communicate monthly calendar timelines to F&BM after thoroughly reviewing underlying data.Conduct weekly reporting and checks, such as hygiene reports, timesheet reminders to out-of-scope resources, and loading in PI.Manage the mailbox for publishing reports and handling queries.Own the timesheet attestation process, including uploading attestation templates in PI, following up with attestors, resolving queries, and tracking system anomalies.Communicate monthly timelines to F&BMs, prepare hygiene reports, follow up with stakeholders, assess system anomalies, and report findings.Support month-end processing and reconciliations, including adjustments to PI for unsubmitted timesheets, reconciliations, and communication to F&BMs on revised forecasts and system updates in PI.Identify and leverage best practices from other PXT F&BM groups. Provide ad-hoc analysis to senior management frequently.Identify opportunities and recommend improvements for increased process and reporting efficiencies.Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and timeliness in all financial and headcount reporting and presentations.Adhere to internal compliance policies and other business reporting requirements.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

Chartered Accountant/CFA/MBA (Finance) (or similar educational background) with minimum 2 years of post-qualification experienceExperience in planning and analysis/financial management / accounting environment.Experience partnering in either a Finance and/or Business Management capacity and providing insights/recommendations to senior managementAbility to present information in a clear and concise manner that tells the story behind financials in a compelling wayConfident and personable attitude with the ability to face off with senior management at all levels, influence/handle difficult messages, problem solve, and resolve conflictsDetail oriented individual capable of completing reporting and analytics accurately, on a timely basis, and in a presentable mannerExcellent written and verbal communication skills a mustIndividual must be able to work independently as well as in a team situationExcellent time management skills and ability to multi task and handle competing priorities under pressureSelf-motivated individual to go beyond immediate responsibilities

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills 

In-depth knowledge of Excel & PowerPoint and knowledge of Essbase and SAP and JIRA preferableIn depth knowledge and experience preferred with visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau, Alteryx.
